Important Notice

  • Please note that your final qualification for the trip is dependent on the results after completion of the final CFI run. In the event that your name is not on the final report, you will not be eligible to attend QCE2020 Fukuoka.

  • If you had requested for your air ticket(s) to be issued before the completion of the final CFI run but did not qualify eventually, you will be liable to pay for the full ticket price (for you and your AP, if applicable), or the amount will be deducted from your commission after the event. There is strictly no reimbursement made by PACS in such situation.

 

  • You are therefore advised to only issue your air ticket(s) upon completion of the final CFI run. Thank you for your understanding. 

Group Seats Terms and Conditions

  • Group seats refer to flights with exact travel dates as per official Convention dates.

  • Any request for flight seating arrangements will be submitted to the respective airlines but is subject to availability and airlines’ allocation. Fortune Travel will not be liable for unsuccessful seating requests. 

 

  • Availability of seats for flights are on a first-come, first-served basis. You are encouraged to register early to better your chances of securing your preferred flight. 

 

  • Qualifiers are not allowed to reserve or upgrade their flight tickets with Fortune Travel before the assigned official registration date. Qualifiers are allowed to obtain an estimated quotation for upgrades from Fortune Travel but will only be able to confirm their request after the assigned registration date commences. 

  • Airport transfers are included for group flights as per official Convention dates only. 

 

  • Special dietary requirements must be indicated upon registration.

 

  • Strictly no deviation is allowed on group seats’ bookings.

 

  • Frequent flyers points are not entitled on group flights.

 

  • Travel insurance – Group insurance is covered from 9 to 13 May and 11 to 15 May respectively. 

 

  • All flights will be reserved and tickets will only be issued after CFI run is over. Should a Qualifier instruct Fortune Travel to proceed with flight ticket issuance before completion of the final CFI run and is subsequently not eligible to travel, he/she will be liable for the full airfare issued; no reimbursement will be made by PACS. 

FIT Deviator

If you are NOT taking group flights, you are considered as a FIT deviator.

  • You can request a separate booking with Fortune Travel (QCE_1@fortunetravel.com.sg or QCE_2@fortunetravel.com.sg)

  • To arrange for pre and/or post trips, please select pre/post-flight trippers during registration. 

 

  • A separate flight booking will be made, subject to seat availability and fare differences in the available booking class by the respective airlines. Each booking class has different fare conditions and restrictions. Qualifiers are to check with Fortune Travel for more details. 

 

  • All Qualifiers are not allowed to reserve their flight tickets with Fortune Travel before the commencement of their assigned registration date. 

 

  • Qualifiers may, contact Fortune Travel for an estimated quotation for deviations or upgrades but can only confirm their booking after your assigned registration date.

 

  • Airport transfers to/from the convention hotel will not be provided for qualifiers who are doing pre/post-trip deviation. Qualifiers in pre/post trips are to make their own way to the convention hotel. 

 

  • Any request for amendments after Fri, 17 Apr 2020 will not be entertained.

 

  • All deviation top-up fares must be fully paid before tickets can be issued.

For own flight arrangements

  • Prior approval is required if Qualifiers choose not to book their air tickets with the appointed travel partner. Please email these requests to SGP.PRUEvents@Prudential.com.sg for approval.

 

  • Qualifiers with approval from PACS Events Team are required to send in their full flight itinerary to SGP.PRUEvents@Prudential.com.sg by Fri, 17 April 2020 for risk management purposes. The full flight itinerary must include the following. 

  1. Departure/ Return Flight Number 

  2. Departure/ Return Flight Date

  3. Departure/ Return Flight Timing

  4. Departure/ Return Airport 

 

  • Airport transfers will not be provided unless the selected flights are the same as the group flights during official convention dates only. Flight information must be provided by Fri, 17 Apr 2020. (Jesse to cath – I had added this line but just to confirm this is okay?)

 

  • Flight reimbursement will be processed after the convention trip. The reimbursement amount will be based on the group seat fare that PACS has secured.

  • Qualifiers may upgrade their stay during the official convention period to single occupant (i.e. non sharing with other qualifiers) at a fee. Rates published are provided by the hotel for the group at the point of planning. PACS will not be able to reimbursement the price difference against the discounted price offered by third party channels.

  • Single occupant room requests are subject to room availability.

 

  • Single occupant room is inclusive of 1 breakfast per day only.

 

  • Fortune Travel reserve the right to reject check-in at the hotel for unpaid request for single occupant room.

Room Extension

Rate: SGD390 (Single Room with One Breakfast)

  • The extension rate is valid from 1 May to 21 May.

  • Qualifiers may choose to book their room extension via Fortune Travel for their pre/post trip. Rates published are provided by the hotel for the group at the point of planning. PACS will not be able to reimbursement the price difference against the discounted price offered by third party channels (ie, Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia etc).

  • Room extension request are subject to rooms availability.

  • Extension is at the same hotel as per convention hotel.

  • Airport transfer is not inclusive and qualifiers have to make their own arrangement.

Passport  Visa

 

All travellers must hold ePassport/Machine-readable passport for entry to Japan otherwise you are required to apply a visa for travel. /

Machine-readable passport (MRP) in compliance with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards has certain individual information, which is able to be read by computer, entered on the identity page of the passport and located at the bottom of the details page.

An ePassport, in compliance with ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards, has an IC chip that stores certain individual and biometric data including a digital image of the passport photograph. The ePassport has a symbol on the front cover of the passport. 

Visa application fees is under each qualifier's own expenses and will not be reimbursed by PACS. As the visa application takes approximately 5 – 60 working days depending on the nationality of the visa applicant, you are advised to submit your visa application early.

There is no encashment if you opt-out of the tours and no refund is given for any cancellations. Lunch is also not included in all tour options.

Take a tour to learn about the process of beer making, from barrel to canning and enjoy the freshly made beer right from the tap! At the end of the tour, qualifiers May, opt to drop off at Hakata Station or back to the hotel.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine & Yanagibashi Rengo Ichiba (Fish Market)


Visit the largest shrine in Fukuoka Kyushu where the God of Academics, Sugaware no Michizane whom locals pray to for good results is enshrined.  After leading the Shrine, we will head to a local fish Market, Yanagibashi Rengo Ichiba where you can buy loads of fresh local produce. 


At the end of the tour, qualifiers May, opt to drop off at Hakata Station or back to the hotel.

We will start the day at Itosaisai fresh market where you can buy direct from the local farmers. There are arrays of fresh produce from poultry to fresh fruits and vegetables. After which we will take you to Ichiran Ramen factory where you will see the ramen making process and enjoy the opportunity to savour their famous Tonkatsu ramen.


At the end of the tour, qualifiers may opt to drop off at Hakata Station or back to the hotel.

Accompanying Person Package

  • Accompanying Person (AP) packages are offered to all Qualifiers for their friends and family members who are not Prudential financial consultants or agents from other insurance companies.

  • Non-qualifying ALs and FCs are not eligible to attend as AP, except where the AL or FC is a spouse of the Qualifier.

 

Adult AP Package includes:

  1. Return economy group ticket on the same flight itinerary as the Qualifier.

  2. Airport and fuel taxes for official convention period only.

  3. Accommodation with the Qualifier on twin/double sharing basis with daily breakfast.

  4. Ground transfers during the official duration of the convention period for official programme only.

  5. Tour selection will be the same as per Qualifier.

  6. Meals and function as per specified in the convention itinerary, unless otherwise communicated.

Child AP Package includes:

  1. Return economy group ticket on the same flight itinerary as the Qualifier.

  2. Child AP Package is applicable for children between 2 to 11 years old. If you are bringing a child less than 2yrs old, please contact Fortune Travel team for alternate travel arrangement.

  3. Airport and fuel taxes for official convention period only.

  4. Accommodation with the Qualifier on twin/double sharing basis with daily breakfast.

  5. Ground transfers during the official events dates and programme only.

  6. Tour selection will be the same as per Qualifier.

  7. Agency Dinner is strictly NOT included due to the celebratory tone of the function.

Important Note

  1. Due to the celebratory tone of some of our official functions, alcohol will be served. Any person under the age of 20 or minimum age requirement regulations set by the respective venue, will not be allowed to attend even if they are under the AP package.

  2. If an extra bed is not required for the children, please indicate this in the “Remark” field during registration under hotel rooming.

  3. Qualifier is to ensure that your roommate is agreeable to sharing the room with a child.
